Aloha United Way has activated the Community Relief Fund to support disaster response and long-term recovery efforts for individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations impacted by the recent catastrophic flooding events across Oʻahu.
Relief is ongoing — and so is the need. Communities including Lāʻie and Waialua continue to face significant recovery challenges, with many families still navigating displacement, financial hardship, and uncertainty.
Through our trusted network of nonprofit and community partners, funds can be deployed quickly and flexibly to address urgent needs now while supporting long-term recovery in the weeks and months ahead.

1. Direct Assistance for Families
Providing emergency cash assistance and helping families access critical recovery resources and temporary housing support.
2. Support for Frontline Nonprofit Partners
Providing emergency grants to trusted nonprofit organizations delivering on-the-ground relief and recovery services.
3. Long-Term Community Recovery
Supporting coordinated response efforts, disaster assessments, and resource navigation through the AUW 211 Statewide Helpline.
