Volunteer Project: Aiea Graduate House Sustainability Garden Initiative - a community volunteer project focused on creating a sustainable garden at our Aiea Graduate House. This initiative will bring together volunteers to develop a productive garden space that supports healthy living, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. The garden will serve as both a source of fresh produce and an educational resource for Habilitat residents as they continue their personal and professional development.
The project will involve:
• Site preparation and cleanup
• Preparing garden beds
• Planting fruits, vegetables, herbs, and native plants
• Installing irrigation and soil improvements
• Beautifying the surrounding area
• General landscaping and beautification
