✨National Kidney Foundation of Hawaii✨
The National Kidney Foundation of Hawaiʻi (NKFH) is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of individuals affected by kidney disease across our community. Through education, prevention, patient support, and advocacy, NKFH works to raise awareness about kidney health, provide life-saving resources for patients and families, and expand access to early detection and treatment. Events like the Kidney Walk help fund these critical programs, support local patients, and bring the community together in the shared mission to prevent kidney disease and improve lives.

Volunteer Project: The NKFH Kidney Walk at Kapiʻolani Park is a community volunteer project focused on raising awareness and support for individuals affected by kidney disease in Hawaiʻi. As a volunteer-driven event, the Kidney Walk brings together patients, families, healthcare partners, and supporters for a meaningful day of unity, education, and action.
Beyond logistics, the walk serves as an opportunity to connect with the community, share kidney health resources, and promote prevention and early detection. Funds raised through the event directly support NKFH programs, including patient assistance, public education, and advocacy efforts. By volunteering, participants contribute to a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment that empowers those affected by kidney disease and advances NKFH’s mission to improve lives across Hawaiʻi.
