Help keep the trees and other native plants at Diamond Head State Monument's Fort Ruger Path happy and healthy. This includes mulching trees, pulling weeds and trimming up the tree canopy.

Event Details

📅 Date: Saturday, September 19, 2026

🕐 Time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

📍 Location: Diamond Head State Monument - near 18th Avenue and Diamond Head Road

Maximum Number of Volunteers: 50

Age Restriction: 10+ (Volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.)

What to Wear/Bring: 

• Closed toe-shoes

• Comfortable clothes willing to get dirty/sweaty

• Refillable water bottle

• Hat

• Gloves, if have a pair you like

Provided:

• Water refill station (no cups)

• Snacks

• Tools and gloves for the project

Parking: Parking is available. Instructions will be provided prior to the event.
