The YMCA of Honolulu is one of Hawaii's largest and oldest nonprofit organizations, dedicated to strengthening the community through three core pillars: Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

Volunteer Project: Help sand our many benches and tables to get them ready to paint. If time permits, we would also like to sand our Gaga Pit, but our priority will be the benches and tables.

📍 Location: YMCA of Honolulu Windward Branch - 1200 Kailua Road, Kailua Hawaii 96734
Maximum Number of Volunteers: 10
Age Restriction: 17+ (Under 18 must be with a parent or guardian.)
Restrictions: Volunteers would be using an electric sander, which does put off vibrations and can get tiring from the pressure of pressing the sander into the wood.
What to Bring/Wear
• Shorts or pants
• Comfortable t-shirt
• Hats
• Sunscreen
• Closed toe shoes
• Reusable water bottle

- Parking: Volunteers may park in the front parking lot
