Throughout our lives, mental health is just as important as physical health. This session explores emotional well-being throughout retirement and beyond, helping participants recognize when something may not feel "quite right" for themselves or someone they care about.
Learn about common mental health issues that can affect older adults, including dementia, depression, and anxiety. Using practical, common-sense approaches, you'll gain strategies to promote mental wellness, support independence, and maintain a high quality of life.
United Way Fox Cities is hosting this event in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Lifelong Learning Institute to bring lifelong learning opportunities to older adults in the Fox Cities. Registration is open to both LLI members and non-members.
