VITA Kickoff

Since 2006, hardworking members of our community who make $60,000 or less have relied on United Way of Greenville County’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) initiative to get their taxes done. Over the last 17 years, VITA volunteers have prepared and filed over 100,000 returns for individuals and families across the Upstate, resulting in nearly $143 million in refunds and cost savings for tax preparation.

Our volunteers, supporters and community partners are the driving force of our work and deserve to be celebrated all year long. Without your time, energy and dedication to VITA, we would not be able to reach nearly as many of our neighbors.
