We’re excited to invite you to participate in Read Across
America Day on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Volunteers will gather at East
Hartford Cultural Center at 8:00 AM for registration.
After a brief program, volunteers will head to classrooms across East Hartford
to read “I AM MORE THAN" by LeBron James to grades
K-1 students!
If you have just a few hours to spare, this is the perfect opportunity for you! United Way is looking for volunteers to read to classrooms across the city to close literacy gaps and create opportunities for children to succeed in school and beyond. Together, we are United to End Poverty.
We kindly ask that volunteers only register for themselves and not for groups, as this helps us plan effectively and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
