We’re excited to invite you to participate in Read Across America Day on Thursday, March 6, 2025. Volunteers will gather at West Middle at 9:00 AM for registration. After a brief program, volunteers will head to classrooms across Hartford to read “Isabel and Her Colores Go to School" by Alexandra Alessandri to 2nd grade students!
If you have just a few hours to spare, this is the perfect opportunity for you! United Way is looking for volunteers to read to classrooms across the city to close literacy gaps and create opportunities for children to succeed in school and beyond. Together, we are United to End Poverty.
We kindly ask that volunteers only register for themselves and not for groups, as this helps us plan effectively and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
