For five days, Hartford becomes a living stage. LONG WEEKEND is a city-wide festival celebrating history through the lenses of Film, Art, Music, Culture, and Technology. It's a modern gathering rooted in the place where America first learned to write itself into existence.
From the steps of Connecticut's Old State House to the halls of the Wadsworth Atheneum to the greens of Bushnell Park, the entire city transforms into one connected campus of ideas with riverfront parks, converted warehouses and downtown rooftops full of performances, and experiences.
LONG WEEKEND brings together artists, filmmakers, musicians, technologists, chefs, and neighbors to explore where we’ve been and imagine what comes next.
LONG WEEKEND is Connecticut's America250 official host activation. United Way and The City of Hartford are seeking volunteers to serve as Information Ambassadors and Event Support as well as Guest Services and VIP Assistance throughout the five day festival.
