Participate in Cooking for a Cause with Community Renewal Team! 

Project Description:

Looking for a rewarding team building opportunity? Volunteer groups are invited to join us in CRT’s Elderly Nutrition Kitchen, where we prepare and deliver nutritious meals to over 1,200 seniors every day through both home-delivered and congregate meal programs. 

Groups will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks including cooking, meal packing, cleaning, and inventory organization. It’s a great way to support your community while working together in a fast paced, mission driven environment. 

Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes. We’ll provide everything else you need to make a meaningful impact.

The Community Renewal Team (CRT) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals and families in need throughout Central Connecticut. CRT provides essential services such as housing assistance, early childhood education, senior programs, workforce training, and crisis intervention. By creating opportunities for stability and self-sufficiency, CRT strengthens communities and empowers people to lead better lives.
