Day of Action

Join us for our Day of Action, where volunteers will come together to assemble summer safety care packages for families attending the North Hartford Ascend Community Resource Fair. These essential packages are designed with practical warm-weather items to help community members stay safe, healthy, and prepared during the summer months.

As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring these care packages reach those who need them most. The care packages you help assemble will be distributed directly to residents at the North Hartford Ascend Community Resource Fair, fostering community support and engagement. This is an in-person opportunity at our designated assembly site, where teamwork and community spirit will shine.

This opportunity is open to volunteers aged 18 and older, though younger volunteers can participate if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Tasks involve assembling packages, light lifting, and standing for short periods. We are committed to accessibility and can modify tasks as needed to accommodate all volunteers.
