Help Local Students Prepare for School
Every child deserves to start school with the tools they need to succeed, yet one in four students don't have access to the supplies required at the start of the school year.

United Way's Backpacks for Bright Futures is here to provide the tools every student needs to succeed.
Through this program, we provide thousands of students across our region with essential school supplies —ensuring they can walk into the classroom prepared and eager to learn.
The cost of school supplies has nearly doubled in some cases, and there has been a reduction in available funding. We need to raise at least $65,000 to meet the need in our community, and we need your support to achieve it.
Please join us to ensure their children are ready for the new school year and equipped to learn. We need your help to fill 6,000 backpacks for students this year!
A gift of:
• $500 provides a case of pencils for an entire school (400 students).
• $100 provides bulk school supplies for one classroom.
• $50 provides highlighters to all students in a high school English class.
• $20 provides one backpack filled with supplies for an elementary-aged student.
For our region to be successful in the future, we must invest in our young people today. Your donation will directly provide local students with the resources they need to start the school year ready to grow and thrive.
