We want to make the Capital Region the best place to be a kid and we need your help to make it happen. Becoming a Summer Meals Ambassador means you will play a crucial role in helping spread awareness about the program and connect families to resources and meal sites.

Summer Meals Ambassador
Last year, Summer Meals Collaborative powered by United Way provided 212,000 meals across 87 sites across the Greater Capital Region.
1 in 5 children in New York is food insecure. United Way and our more than 30 collaborative partners are working to reach more children and their families, that’s where you step in.
As an ambassador you will:
• Share resources provided by United Way’s informational toolkit
• Post about Summer Meals Collaborative on social media platforms
• Engage your personal network by sharing your experiences related to Summer Meals Collaborative
• Optional: Attend a block party site to experience Summer Meals Collaborative firsthand
All Ambassadors will receive a Summer Meals informational sheet and a T-shirt designed to spark conversation and spread awareness to all community members.
You will also receive periodic emails updates with the latest information, statistics and impact stories surrounding Summer Meals Collaborative in the Capital Region.
