ALICE Data Training

Does your organization serve households or individuals who are struggling to afford life's necessities? ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) represents the growing number of people in our community that are living above the Federal Poverty Level but are still unable to make ends meet off their income alone.
This 60-minute virtual training will cover the basics of ALICE data from unitedforalice.org and how you can use it to demonstrate and learn about community need. The ALICE research quantifies and describes the number of household that are struggling financially broken down to the zip code level to provide a framework, language, statistics and tools that community stakeholders can use to inform policy, drive innovation and demonstrate community need for grant funding.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the purpose of United for ALICE and the data.
2. Navigate the United for ALICE website to locate relevant data sources and reports.
3. Brainstorm ways to use the data within your organization.
